Dear Colleague:

The Towson University Department of Geography and Environmental Planning, along with Esri and other co-sponsors, announce our 25th Annual Geographic Information Sciences Conference. TUgis 2012 will be held on Monday, March 19 and Tuesday, March 20, 2012 at the University Union on the Towson University campus.

TUgis 2012 will emphasize information sharing, or technology transfer, by anyone currently using GIS and anyone considering using GIS. The theme for TUgis 2012 is “Celebrating 25 Years of Service to the Mid-Atlantic Geospatial Community.” The plenary presenters for TUgis 2012 are:

TUgis 2012 provides GIS and other professionals with the opportunity to share their experiences and receive recognition for their work. We encourage presentation proposals for concurrent sessions that include individual presentations, panel presentations, mini-workshops, and a poster session. We are soliciting proposals in the form of abstracts. The deadline for proposals is Friday, January 27, 2012. Instructions for submitting a proposal for TUgis 2012 can be found at the TUgis website.

TUgis 2012 will be held in the University Union (shown as "UU" on the interactive and printable maps of the Towson University campus).

I look forward to seeing you at TUgis in March!

Sincerely,
